      To all the folks complaining about the limited speed and giving out one star ratings.. did you read the product description? It literally says '10/100BASE-T pe To all the folks complaining about the limited speed and giving out one star ratings.. did you read the product description? It literally says '10/100BASE-T performance' which limits the connection to 100Mbps. If you are lucky enough to have higher bandwidth than that, buy the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Either way, the device stopped working for us after updating to the newer OS. It now requires a 3rd party driver and that failed after a few days. Another quality product that we are forced to upgrade.

      Works well until it breaks

      I have used this product for less than 6 months and it doesn't work anymore. The wires got frayed at the base of the cord and just doesn't work. Really don't know why this happens to all apple cables for as much money we pour into them.

      I purchased this item and I have no wifi connectivity issues anymore!       Important to note that this is only a 100Mbps device, not a 1Gbps device. It works as advertised, but honestly, it's obsolete and should be replaced.

      It will with the Humax PVR. I've just connected mine, and it's works just fine. Not sure about the It will with the Humax PVR. I've just connected mine, and it's works just fine. Not sure about the TV though - I guess if it's wireless, then you would already have it connected. If it's wired, then the AP only has one Ethernet port, so you would need another AP?

      A MacBook Air has a built-in Wifi, you do not require an Ethernet Adapter if you have a Wifi Network Realtek rtl8139 free drivers for mac. A MacBook Air has a built-in Wifi, you do not require an Ethernet Adapter if you have a Wifi Network in your home/office.. etc. However, if you would like to have a wired connection using an ethernet cable, then you need an ethernet adapter to allow this.

For anyone still having this issue, give this a shot:


First, make sure you have iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support Installed.

1. Go to Device Manager

2. Locate your Apple device (mine was under Portable Devices. It's very possible it's somewhere else for you.)

3. Right click it and select 'Update Device Driver.'

4. Navigate to C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile DevicesSupportDrivers and select that folder

5. Hit next. The driver should install and you'll see 'Apple Mobile Device USB Driver' under the 'Universal Serial Device USB Driver' section in Device Manager.
